Juanita Davis Lumpkin, 97, of Amarillo, died October 15, 2018

Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel.  Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Juanita was born on March 25, 1921 in Quanah, Texas to Ben and Bessie Davis.  She graduated from Vocational Nursing at Amarillo College.  She worked at BSA, NWTH, and Moore County Hospital.  She was a member of The Church at Quail Creek.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lewis Lumpkin; a son, Robert Lee Lumpkin; a grandson, Eric Rodgers; and a great-granddaughter Alesha Hodnett.

She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Manning, Sandra Roberson and Linda Jones; eight grandchildren, Cari Fluty, Ardell Rodgers, Dana Johnson, Starla Hodnett, Troy Roberson, Chase Roberson, Kirk Bell and Jackie Booth; nineteen great-grandchildren, Steavi, Tobe, Cameron, Kylee, Cassi, Maygan, Kaylee, Cash, Jeremy, Coleten, Corey, Garrett, Makaila, Hailey, Kenzie, Lauren, Leah, Bella and Jake; and eight great-great-grandchildren, Adrian, Abrianna, Cam, Keira, Slade, Sloan, Paisley, Ryder, Sophia, Natalia, Blake and Malone.

The family will receive friends and family from 6-7 PM, Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home.
