Harriet Sherman

Harriet Elizabeth Sherman, 89, of Amarillo, TX died on December 21, 2019.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 23, 2019, at Memory Gardens Cemetery, with Corky Holland officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, Amarillo.

Harriet was born in Floyd County, TX on December 10, 1930 to Virgie Elvis Patterson and Rosalie Ricker. She received her bachelor’s degree in English from Texas Tech University.

She is survived by her husband, LD Sherman, of the home; son, Larry Sherman (Sherry), of Amarillo, TX; grandson, Jared Sherman (Allison), of Amarillo, TX; granddaughter, Jordyn; nieces, Patricia, Patty, and Virginia; nephews, Robert, and James; many grandnieces and grandnephews; and many great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
