Treva Maxine Riehl, 83, of Amarillo died Tuesday, July 18, 2017.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Pioneer Chapel with Ira Purdy officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St.
Treva was born Sept. 10, 1933 in Seminole, Okla., to Frank and Irene McConaghie. She retired from the State of Texas Department of Human Resources in 1993.
Treva enjoyed traveling around the United States in her R.V. Her hobbies included quilting and sewing. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and putting on big feast at her house for the entire family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Marvin Henderson, in 1981; and her second husband, Thomas Riehl, in 2008.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Henderson and wife Michelle of Amarillo and Michael Henderson and wife Carol of Dumas; two daughters, Jeanette Brewer of Claude and Kimberly Lindsey of Hedley; two sisters; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
