Teresa Q. Rodriguez was born September 30, 1938 to Lorenzo Quintero and Victoria Garcia in San Marcos, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Rodriguez; and a grandson, Ryan Andrew Rodriguez.
Surviving children include Rosa Linda Jimmerson, Mary Ann Ortiz, Willie Rodriguez Jr., Benito Rodriguez and Darlene Pritchett. She has 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Teresa lived in Hereford, TX for 58 years.
She was a member of Iglesia de Cristo in Hereford. She was a faithful Christian who enjoyed reading her Bible and singing praises to the Lord. She enjoyed having her children around for family gatherings. Holidays were special, as she would make tamales, empanadas, menudo, bunuelos and Mexican cookies for family and friends.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 23, 2018, at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 22, 2018, at the funeral home.
