Scott Earl Byars

Scott was born on May 3, 1957 to Lyle and Donna Byars in Amarillo, Texas. He attended Amarillo High School and graduated 1975. He went on to work for several companies in the Amarillo and Lubbock area as a successful salesperson. When not working, he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his buddies and watching the Dallas Cowboys on Sundays. He was always ready to offer someone in need a helping hand. He will be missed dearly by those who called him friend and mentor.
Scott is survived by his sister, Michele Byars of Broadview, New Mexico. He is also survived by several friends, Jess Earl Whitehead of Broadview, New Mexico, Jimmy Lynn of Lubbock, Texas and Don Beard of Lubbock, Texas, who were like brothers to him and many, many others that treated him more like family than friends. He was truly blessed and loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle Byars and Donna Byars.
