Joe B. Bridges was born May 23, 1927 in Hereford, to Elisha and Sadie Bridges. He served his country in the United States Army. He married the love of his life Elva Marie Ho-gland on June 6, 1945, together they had three children. He enjoyed spending time with his family. His hobbies included welding, fishing, and racing cars.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his son Max D. Bridges, his parents, five brothers; Loyd, Edwin, Murl, Frank A. and Donald. Three sisters; Lucille Harper, Juanita Phillips and Linda Kay Bridges.
He is survived by his children Ellen Morgan and husband Jimmy and Bobby J. Bridges.
Four grandchildren Gary Morgan and wife Crystal; Cindy Morgan, Deena Clifton and husband Rusty, and Chad Bridges. Three great grandchildren Roper Wilkinson, Lucas Clifton, and Austin Anderson. Three brothers Earl Bridges, Ronald Bridges and Jimmie Bridges; one sister Betty Turner. Numerous nieces and nephews.
