Donald Lee Renner

Donald Lee Renner, of Amarillo, TX passed away in peace Wednesday, December 25, 2019, at the age of 87.

He is preceded in death by his wife Patsy Kathleen.

Don was born November 9, 1932 in Gruver, TX.  His family traveled to live in Phoenix,AZ before they settled in Amarillo., TX. He was a graduate of Amarillo High School and Texas Tech University.  He was a member of the United States Air Force and retired as a Lt. Colonel.

Survivors include a daughter, Zoe Lowrance (Dan Lowrance); a daughter, Sharyn Shogan (Dan Shogan); 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, 2800 Paramount Blvd. on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 9-5:00 p.m., and Sunday, December 29, 2019, from 12-5:00 p.m.

The family will be doing a memorial service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
