Danny Eugene Shelpman

Danny Eugene Shelpman, 82, of Amarillo died Thursday May 28, 2020. Service will be Wednesday 11 Am at Memory Gardens Cemetery officiated by Father Guadalupe from Saint Hyacinth Church. The family will receive guest from 4-8 pm Monday and Tuesday June 1st and 2Nd for visitation. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage.

Danny was born in Piqua, OH. April 12, 1938. Danny was an honorable U.S Marine, serving his country during the Vietnam war. He was a millwright construction worker. Danny loved to sit on the porch with Family, Friends and neighbors visiting and telling jokes. He always had a smile. Danny will truly be missed by all that knew him. He believed in Jesus and God almighty.

Danny was preceded in death by his mother and father Beryl and Clayton Shelpman, his three sons, Denis and Stephen Shelpman, and Tomas Sanchez Jr. His sister, Betty Madden, and brother, Arthur Shelpman.

He is survived by his wife Anselma Shelman,  his four daughters, Josie and her husband Richard Esparza, Donna, Rosie, and Roxanne Sanchez, six sons, T.J Sanchez, Mario and his wife Elizabeth Sanchez, Rodrigo and his wife Pansy Sanchez, David, Rojelio, Ricardo and his wife Amy Sanchez, Along with a host of many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
