Billy Darrell Roberts

Billy D. Roberts 85, of Amarillo, Texas passed away on July 15, 2017. He was born on July 2, 1932 to Floyd and Juanita Roberts in Clovis, New Mexico. Billy received Jesus Christ as his lord and savior at 17 years old at First Baptist Church in Clovis. He married the love of his life Panzy Poe on May 23, 1952. He retired after 40 years of service in 1989 as a Supervisor in the Mechanical department at Santa Fe Railway.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Panzy Roberts of Amarillo, Sons Blake Roberts of Topeka, Kansas, Greg Roberts and family of Amarillo, TX, and Chris Roberts and family of Parrish, Florida; 3 Brothers, Jackie Roberts and family, Terrell Roberts and family and Ferrell Roberts all of Clovis, NM, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral and burial services will be private.
It is suggested that memorials be given to Paramount Baptist Church Mission Funds.
