Aubort Wright

Aubort Wright was born in Townley, Alabama to Robert and Donna Wright on April 23, 1922. He served his country in the United States Army. He met and married the love of his life Valetta. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf and spending time with his family who were very important to him. He played semi-pro baseball for a local team in his younger years. He was a member of North Amarillo Church of Christ. He was always quick to lend a hand and never asked for anything in return. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who were blessed to know him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife Valetta; seven brother's and six sisters.

He is survived by children Charlotte Clements and husband B.C. and Cal Wright and wife Brenda. Grandchildren Tandy Sparkman, Marci Kinch, Beth Davidson, Stacey Wright Buchannan, Jodi Wright and Hollie Wright along with 12 great-grandchildren.
